Rob is originally from West Irondequoit and currently lives in Canandaigua. He graduated High School from Bishop Kearney in 1978 and from there he proceeded to the University of Notre Dame where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (Marketing) in 1982. While at Notre Dame, Rob was a member of the Golf Team where he achieved the Most Valuable Player Award in his Junior & Senior seasons. After college, Rob became a Golf Professional and earned his PGA membership in 1988. He has served as the Head Golf Professional at several Rochester area country clubs before joining Midvale’s staff in 2020. In total, Rob has over 40 years of experience as a professional serving members in the Rochester area. During this time, Rob has been the Western New York PGA Professional of the Year (2004), Teacher of the Year (2006 & 2014) and Player of the Year (1992 & 1999). He was also President of the WNYPGA from 2017-2019. As a result of his many accomplishments and years of service, Rob was inducted into the Western New York PGA Hall of Fame in 2023.
