Originally from the UK, he has a rich background in luxury hospitality. Before joining Midvale, he served as General Manager at renowned luxury hotels such as Canoe Place Inn, The Chatwal Lodge, The Weekapaug Inn, Blantyre and The Lake House on Canandaigua. With experience as a Chef in both the US and UK, Simon also had a successful career as an Infantry Officer in the British Army. Having lived in Germany, Cyprus, Canada, Ireland, Africa, The Falkland’s and the UK, he has traveled and worked globally, bringing a diverse perspective to his hospitality roles. For Simon his motivation is always about developing the team and looking for improvement with the aim of exceeding the Midvale Members expectation. When not at the club Simon enjoys his small 8 Acre farm, cooking and flyfishing. He is also hoping to revisit cross country skiing from his time in Canada where he represented the Canadian Infantry School in Biathlon.
